Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Ellwoods Empire

Height: 0,3–0,4 m

Cypress is the most popular among plants for a green hedge. Fast-growing, it can reach a height of 2-3m. Evergreen with a conical, column-shaped crown. Its cones reach 8 mm in a year and become rounded. Its delicate, scale-like, feathery needles give it a distinctive look. It likes sun or partial shade and moist places. It grows well in all types of soil. It is frost resistant, but tolerates drought poorly. It is excellent as a solitary plant, and with regular pruning it can be used as a perfect, dense hedge.
